Don't have the time to wait in line at
the County Clerk office for a Marriage License?

No worries.  Mobile Reverend is authorised by the County of Los Angeles
to issue Confidential Marriage Licenses... and He Can Deliver It To You!

The Marriage License                    MobileReverend@gmail.com • (310) 749-3043

There are two types of marriage licenses issued in the state of California both of which are valid for 90 days from the date issued:

1)  License and Certificate of Marriage
This license can be used anywhere in the State of California.  The wedding ceremony requires at least one person (other than Mobile Reverend) to witness the marriage.   This license is open for public inspection.

2)  License and Certificate of Confidential Marriage
This license can only be used in the county that issued the license, and only if the marrying couple have already been cohabitating.  The wedding ceremony requires no witness.  This license is not open for public inspection.

Whichever of the two licenses you choose Mobile Reverend, as your Officiant,
is required to have it in his  “personal”possession prior to the wedding ceremony.  Additionally, each of the persons marrying must provide "Proof of Identity" and age documents prior to the wedding.*  Mobile Reverend will sign the marriage license after the wedding; and, as the person performing the ceremony, Mobile Reverend will ensure the license is returned for filing to the County Recorder in the county that issued the marriage license. The marrying
couple will have other things on their mind… perhaps a honeymoon!

*  Acceptable “Proof of Identity” includes a Driver License, Passport or Alien Resident Card.  Photo and age verification is mandatory.  All documents must be in English.  Documents that have expired may not be accepted.

Mobile Reverend is now on Facebook!  You are sincerely invited to "Like" him!
