          I used Great Officiants (from whom Mobile Reverend receives most of his referrals) to find the perfect officiane to marry me and my husband. We ended up finding Muricio who was great! He contacted us directly and set up a coffee date to go over what we were looking for in an officiant.
          We went over the importance of keeping to some Filipino traditions and the importance of translating some parts of the ceremony into Spanish so my parents would understand. Mauricio went above and beyond to be accommodating to us.
          On the rehearsal date he was super friendly to our guests, clear when giving instructions on how the ceremony will proceed. He was interacting with our families so well that we invited him to stay for the dinner. 
          On our wedding day Mauricio was on time, professional and went through the ceremony seamlessly. He took the time to talk about our relationship and was able to translate parts of the ceremony into Spanish which I appreciated.

          The experience with this company was top notch. As soon as I submitted an inquiry, I received a call the next day by great officiants who provided me with contact information to officiant who met the criteria we were looking for and seemed like a good match. Well sure enough, Rev. Mauricio was a pleasure. Kind, professional and so involved. Truly made the experience that much more special. He provided a personal ceremony for my husband & I. He incorporated my Mexican and his Filipino cultures. I received so many compliments from our guests for knowing so much of our backstory and making our friends & family laugh.

One  year ago on this date, June 26th, the Defense of Marriage Act, the law barring the federal government from recognizing same-sex marriages legalized by the states, was ruled unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court.  The same court also restored the effect of a federal district court ruling that overturned Proposition 8 as unconstitutional thus paving the way for Marriage Equality to return to California.

During the following four weeks after that monumental Day Mobile Reverend A.Mauricio was/is proud to have personally married more than 60 same sex couples as a volunteer Deputy Commissioner of Civil Marriages at the same Registrar Recorder County Clerk Office where the Prop. 8 plaintiffs Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo were issued their Marriage License.  He is just as equally proud of his support of Marriage Equality in his personal business as Mobile Reverend.
